New Centre
Welcome to our new home!
We have finally achieved our dream of moving the West Hampstead Women's Centre to the site of the former Kilburn Library on Cotleigh Road.
Built in 1901, the 'old' library is a beautiful building with lots of light and space, making it a perfect venue for our activities and services.
The 'All Women under One Roof' Project
Before the move, West Hampstead Women's Centre was run from two small premises, meaning that facilities were cramped and groups were separated.
The new building allows us to fulfil our dream of running all of our services and activities in one place - A 'One Stop Centre' for all women, a space to discover our similarities and learn from our differences.
More space means we can provide more services
Having more space means that we can expand our services to offer help to even more women in the Kilburn and West Hampstead area.
We also plan to run some exciting new services - Watch this space for activities such as International Dance Classes, Community Coffee Mornings, Mother and Toddler sessions and a Gardening Project...!

We are eternally grateful to everyone who has fundraised and supported this project to turn our dreams into reality! The library needed a considerable amount of work- essential repairs, adaptations and a splash of colour - to create a welcoming space and a place suitable for the planned activities. Together we have raised over £270,000 to carry out the necessary renovations - THANK YOU!

Rooms for hire - a new way of raising funds
One of the new ways that we hope to raise money for the centre is by hiring out our fantastic new rooms to other groups or individuals. The rooms are fully equipped for disabled users and would make perfect venues for consultations or group meetings.

We still need more funding to secure the future of the West Hampstead Women's Centre. The new building is a result of 25 years of hard work and dedication and we want to ensure that the doors stay open to all women forever!
